I logged in again as myself and got the same result - no error message, no anything. Can anyone tell me what I should try now?

Did you try to right click on the icon and click on run as administrator? I had many issue with RBR intro.exe that i rename as intro.old Make sure patch 1.02 is installed as well. Then i remember having issues with directx9 that could be anothe potential problems Due other collateral issues, I am happpily back to windows 7 and no plan for now to upgrade to 10.
